Work, Work, Work,

365 days of work. When will it cease? The work I endure is the work I cannot live without. And one day I'm hoping to find someone who can relate? Who can understand the 7 day work week. Who can understand minimal sleep? Who can understand that actually sitting around and doing nothing is the greatest thing in the world? Everyone I meet who can relate is in the same boat I'm in. No time. No time for friendships, (hey unless we work together in some aspect, I ain't seeing you), no time for romance, no time for partying (unless it's work related), no time to chill. Every thing is quick and fast. Our phone conversations, our emails, our instant messaging, our meetings, our meals. We have no time for the day to day functions. It seems like all this work, all these years have caught up to me. Gained weight from all the quick meals, keep getting sick from lack of sleep. Back aches from all the late nights sitting at a sewing machine. Never thought that age would be my work's greatest enemy. But still I endure. A dream deferred is not a dream forgotten. And man to think Diddy only made them walk to Brooklyn for cheese cake. I would walk to Brooklyn from Bmore just for a shot to make my dream come true... Oh well! Maybe one day, I'll have time to take that walk. Keep Reading!
