Well it's February, and besides being Black History Month, it's also the month that we celebrate love, and the most irritating holiday ever. That's right, I'm hating on Valentine's Day. I hate it. That's cause I've never really had too many good ones. Maybe one out of my whole life. I feel like scrooge on Christams, bah humbugh... Or whatever he says... And while I know that I shouldn't have such disdain for this "lovely" holiday, I do. People getting flowers, candy, jewelry, cuddly teddy bears, and emotional tear jerking cards is enough to drive me insane. Yes I hate Valentine's Day. Yes, it's overrated and commercial, and just a way for folks to get more of our money, but I mainly hate it cause it hates me. Since I can remember it's always been just another day for me. I had hoped this year would be different, but it won't. But to all those that get love on this holiday, I hope you have a wonderful day.
