My daddy use to say that men were like buses. Never chase after one cause a new one comes every 15 minutes. I guess he was right about that. Half these men out here aren't worth my time of day, let alone the chase. But as human beings, we all enjoy a good chase every now and then. I'm guilty of chasing a few men in my lifetime. What woman isn't? And while it might have been fun while it lasted, it was really a waste of time. Some men, well most men, don't like being chased. They would rather do the chasing. And most of the time, if a man doesn't act interested, well he isn't. A lot of women think that men are these complex creatures that you cannot figure out, while in all honesty, men are pretty obvious. Either they like you or they don't.
Scenario #1- You have a cool male friend. You two are platonic, but you don't want it to be platonic. Well if he isn't showing interest in you like that, then he's not interested in you. That doesn't mean he won't have sex with you if you come on to him, that just means he's not interested in seeing you as more then a friend.
Scenario #2- You see a guy in your office you think is cute. You constantly look at him and try to make small talk. He's polite, but never really warms up to you. He's not interested in you. Don't push the issue. You can flirt until the cows come home, but if he's not interested, all you MIGHT get is a sexual relationship, if that.
Scenario #3- You meet up with this guy that your home girl has been dying for you to meet. You think he's cute when you meet him, but you just talk and get to know him. He responds to your charm, laughs at your jokes, affectionately touches you on your side or back, he likes you. Feel him out to see how much.
Women including myself have this bad habit of thinking that if a man is your friend he's automatically attracted to you... Wrong. You can tell real easily how a man feels. There isn't too much complex thinking, it's pretty black and white. You don't have to respond to every man that likes you ladies. Just take your time and get to know people. You never know who Mr. Right is. You probably have met him already.
