Robin Thicke. That's what I'm listening to. The Neptunes' version of Justin Timberlake. Or at least I like to think so. But really he's a whole different artist with a knack for a different type of Genre. Okay... Enough music talk. I update this blog daily to vent. And today I really don't have much to say besides life is short. Relationships take work. No I'm not necessarily speaking of significant others or boyfriend/girlfriend relationships, but relationships in general are hard work. Sometimes you think that just because you love somebody that your "relationship" is going to work. Some folks don't want to put in the time, energy and effort it takes to make a friendship work. Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus. And to expect a man and a woman to be in a friendship without sparks flying in every possible direction, well that's a bit unrealistic. But what I do know is that love is love and respect should be respect. And most of us sometimes lose sight of one of those things when we deal with a person for so long. We tend to hurt the people we love, you know why? Because it's easier to. When in reality we should be bringing a person up, not bringing them down.
We are all guilty of hurting someone we love. Whether it be a friend, a husband, a wife, a girlfriend, a boyfriend, a mother, a father, a brother, a sister, a cousin, a child... We all hurt somebody we are close to. But realizing that you are wrong is the beginning to rebuilding any friendship/relationship. Yes I was wrong. And now we need to move on. Hopefully, you agree.
